Remote Utilities Install 

!! Turn off Deep Freeze if installing on a public PC !!

Public PC

Login as Administrator (CTRL+ALT+DELETE and choose Sign Out, then sign on as Administrator) 

For Envisionware sites, press CTRL and right click on the Envisionware logo in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Then sign on with your Envisionware staff account and select Access Desktop. (Breaking Past the Login Screen) 



Holding down the Shift key, double click on the polar bear (deep freeze) icon by the clock

It will ask you for a password, use your Administrator password

Choose Boot Thawed, then hit Apply and reboot



Once the computer comes back up, login as Administrator and make sure there is a red X by the polar bear icon  

Start here for staff PC’s 

Login as Administrator

Download (https://www.remoteutilities.com/download/host/)

and run the host7.x.exe file on the remote PC. An installation wizard will appear. Click Next:



Accept the End User License Agreement by selecting I accept... and click Next:

Leave the destination folder at the default. 

Click Next:



On the Installations Options step, leave the default values checked, even if they differ from the example below and click Next:



On the next screen click Install. The installation process will start.



Give it a minute or two to install 

Create Host access password and click OK:

This password should be the same administrator password, as the administrator account. 

 As we at SELCO will need to use it 

Wait until the Host installation is complete and click Finish.



Click OK to finish the install 

Right-click the Host icon from the task bar


Select Internet-ID Connection Settings:


Click Get New ID

A unique Internet-ID code will be generated. Note and record the ID and close the window.
