Other CKI modes:

Bookdrop mode

Checking in using “Bookdrop” mode will still check the item in but it post-dates the check-in time to a minute prior to close the previous day. By using “Bookdrop” mode, you are treating materials as if they were returned a day early, which will give the patron credit for returning it then and may lower overdue fines.

For a video version of instructions see this CKI Bookdrop Mode.

In House Use

“In House Use” mode is to be used when you are tidying up and notice there are books/library materials left out on tables. It counts those items as a checkout for your statistics. For example, reference books may be used but are not allowed to be checked out. If you wish to record their usage, check them in using “In House Use”.
