This page is updated with current known issues that we are working on for the new Evergreen ILS
People Magazine was so corrupted that it was not able to be migrated to Evergreen. It will get added back in eventually.
Aspen Browse Categories and Library Spotlights are not currently working for local administrators.
Re-targeting Holds - Staff seem to currently be unable to re-target holds for 'stuck' items that should be on their pull list but aren't showing up. We're looking into it.
Online Payments are in testing phase.
MNLINK Items may not scan correctly in Evergreen. If that is the case, send it to SELCO and we will take care of it.
Phone Numbers did not come over correctly, we are looking into it.
Hold Policies/Special Collections - Not all hold policies are working properly in Evergreen and/or Aspen particularly for Special collections we are working through the issues for these still line by line.
Pull Lists are going to be weird for a week so post migration. You can mitigate this by making sure your Hold shelf is checked. For these first few days process your delivery tubs before you generate your pull list.
One library said “While I was troubleshooting, Matthew remembered that he had pulled one of those non-locateable items a week ago to put in delivery. Our suspicion is that those items are somewhere in transit [on a hold shelf] and will eventually appear wherever they were supposed to go. We're holding onto this first pull list and will look at those items in the next few days to see if their status changes.”
Clean up Reports for Lost items, In transit/expired holds, Schools items/patrons and some other things will be forthcoming. You can also access reports on your own from Blue Cloud Analytics still for historical Horizon information.
Creating Patrons - When creating a new patron, libraries should be able to see the 'standard' user permission.
Pre-May 1 Requests - This is now fixed, it was mostly a problem with equipment/special collection and dovetailed with hold policies. We're still working on the hold policies, but the requests should be targeting in order now.
Staff Account Passwords - There are now instructions for staff to change their Evergreen Staff Account Passwords.
Age Hold Protection should now work for 3 months from active date.
Borrower Middle Names should be available again.
Primary/Active Cards should now be fixed in Evergreen.
Borrower Names with Hyphens should be fixed.
Aspen Item Status - Aspen should now be showing the correct item status.
Secondary Cataloging Permissions set up for staff have been fixed.
Void Lost Items - A setting was changed in Evergreen to void lost items upon check in so the bill would not generate.
Equinox is helping to generate a cleanup report of any that may have snuck through.
Circ Manager Permissions have been updated to allow editing the primary/active barcode.
Circ Policies should all be working as expected.
External Applications are now connected to Evergreen: SELCO App, OverDrive/Libby, Envisionware.
Editing Other Libraries - You cannot edit patrons or mark items owned by other libraries as lost, claimed returned etc.
Talk to the owner of the library so they can do this. If the region wants to change this it will need to be a conversation at the Shared ILS Committee.
Lost Items Horizon vs Evergreen - Lost items that were tied to a patron in Horizon are not tied to a patron in Evergreen.
Equinox reports this cannot be done in bulk because the historic transaction is longer present. These are Grocery bills that can be cleaned up if desired. A cleanup report is forthcoming.
Reshelving is a temporary status that means it's in the library, but not yet been reshelved. This status will change on its own, you don't have to do anything with it. This may change later on when there is more time to address it.
