Identify who requested an item

Scenario: An item was requested from our library by a patron in Lake City, but the item is missing and is the only item in the region. How do I find out who the patron is so I can let Lake City know?

There are 2 ways to find out who requested an item.

Option 1: In Bib detail, view Title request

Click on the Item dropdown menu > Find Item (or F2)

Highlight the correct item and click on Show Detail (to show Bib record)

Click on Request dropdown menu > View Title Request List

View list of patrons with requests on that title. In the bottom right hand corner, you can see how many requests are on that item. This example shows many requests on an item, but if the request is for an item with only one available in the region, it will be easier to tell who to contact.

Option 2: Include Borrower in your pull list display

Follow instructions for Running the Pull List.

Click the Display button

Select “Name” from the list
