How to Request SELS Kits

Search catalog for “selco game kit,” “button making kit,” “summer reading camp kit” or “book repair kit” “DIY Breakout”.

When you receive the kit, make sure you check it out, just like you would a book.

Your library is responsible for checking the contents of kits before and after you checkout.

Email the Help Desk if there is a broken or missing piece.


If you are a:

Public library– Your library should create an Agency card for yourself. Use that card to request and check out any of these kits.

School library on Horizon– Use your staff card to request and check out any of these kits.

Any academic, school, or special library not on Horizon– ask to sign up for an Agency card at your local public library. Use that card to request and check out any of these kits.

Book Repair Kit

SELCO has 2 CoverOne book repair kits. 

Purchase single glue strips (from the SELCO Shop). Please do so before you request a kit, so we have time to put them in the kit.



Tips: 

Make sure Goo Gone lid is on tight, secure it in the ziploc.


Parchment paper keeps the plastic tape from melting on the machine. Place over the spine before placing the book in the machine.
