View the Using Hold Groups in Evergreen Google Doc if you're trying to place group holds before June 2, 2026.
As of the June 2, 2026 upgrade, you are able to place holds for Hold Groups much like you do for regular patrons.
First, ensure you have a hold group created and patrons added to the hold group. Then,
Search for your title in the staff catalog.
Select place hold on the title.
Select the radio button for Place hold for this hold group.
Select your hold group to place the item.
Adjust all other hold settings as needed.
Select Place Hold(s).
You can verify the holds were placed by going to Circulation -> Hold Groups, finding your hold group, and then going to Hold Events. The holds you placed should appear.
