Disable Chrome Notifications
Your pop-ups may be unwanted chrome notifications. Chrome notifications look like this and appear in the lower right corner.
Below the “X” to close chrome there should be a “pancake” icon like this
Click on it and select settings
From the left select Privacy and Security
Under Privacy and Security there will be an option for “site settings”
Click on the arrow, bringing you to this menu.
Click on Notifications
Scroll down to the “allow” section, if there’s anything in that list you don’t recognize and has the three dots next to it can be blocked
Click on the pancake (the 3 dots) and select Block
This prevents the website from sending notifications, which can look like a virus warning. Do not “remove” them as that will only block them temporarily and you will be prompted to allow them the next time you visit the site.
